Stop the Bleed® is a nation-wide initiative started by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in 2015 intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. As a thought leader in the EMS market, Bound Tree Medical launched an integrated marketing campaign in 2018 to spread awareness of the resources provided by the DHS for this national response to the rise in active shooter incidents and to reinforce the role our customers have in this noble cause. It was my job to design the campaign materials, which needed to comply with the DHS Stop the Bleed® brand standards.
